Would 100% recommend checking art.ikki out but for now, lets get into the week!

Would you have tackled the week any differently?

Monday

Today, I began my day by cooking a delicious breakfast for myself, setting a positive tone. After savoring my meal, I dived into my inbox, diligently replying to emails and direct messages.

A client meeting filled my mid-morning, where I successfully addressed their needs. Post-lunch, I tackled the organizational side of my work, meticulously sorting through files and setting up a plan for the upcoming week, all while enjoying the comforting aroma of coffee.

To add a creative touch, I dedicated time to crafting an engaging Instagram post, blending work and personal expression seamlessly. It's been a productive and fulfilling day.

Tuesday

Today, I adhered to my morning ritual before immersing myself in addressing client feedback from our previous meeting. It was a day consumed by refining their requested changes, and I dedicated my full attention to the task.

Note from Aliya @archistudentnotes: I can either love or hate this task. If you have a client in practice or tutor at university who is super particular, getting those details right can be really rewarding (more so for a client) but there is always a fine line between what is rewarding and what gets annoying (more so for a tutor)

As the day drew to a close, I decided to treat myself to dinner, ordering a delightful meal as a well-deserved reward for a productive.

Wednesday

Today, my primary goal was to tackle the client's requested changes, but I struggled due to feeling under the weather. But somehow I managed and scheduled a final meeting with the client.

Thursday

I kicked off my day with a client meeting that went exceptionally well – they appreciated the work done.

Note from Aliya @archistudentnotes: This is always a great feeling, appreciation goes a long way.

To celebrate, I treated myself to a café visit, sipping coffee as I sketched out plan and posted it on Instagram.

Friday

Today's focus centered on preparing for this weekend's architecture illustration course. I began by meticulously organizing the necessary files and materials, ensuring everything is ready for the upcoming sessions. Additionally, I reached out to students via email, providing them with essential information and setting the stage for a successful learning experience during the course.

And that’s the week!

Thank you so much to Kritika from @art.ikki for this weeks submission. It was great to read what a life is life as a freelance architect and illustrator - definitely a career a lot of students and others on their own architecture journey would love to hear more about.
